An armed robber has been jailed 60 years for his participation in last month’s heist at Alpha Omega Farm in Marondera owned by businessman Wicknell Chivayo’s in-laws.
Bigboy Nampungo was convicted on six counts of armed robbery and will serve an effective 30 years in prison after the court made half the 60 years to run concurrently.
The other suspects are still on remand, awaiting trial.
