Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh by three wickets in an exciting finish on the fourth day of the first Test in Sylhet to go 1-0 up in the two-match series.
The visitors chased down a target of 174-7 on the fourth day in Sylhet.
It was Zimbabwe’s fifth overseas Test victory, which came after they completed their highest successful chase in the fourth innings. Zimbabwe’s previous overseas Test win was in 2021, against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.
Muzarabani, who claimed a match haul of nine wickets, was the architect of Zimbabwe’s triumph, dismantling the hosts’ batting lineup with a fiery 6-72 in the second innings to restrict Bangladesh to 255.
The lanky fast bowler wreaked havoc on a responsive Sylhet pitch, using his height and seam movement to unsettle Bangladesh’s batters.
