Dendera star Sulumani Chimbetu has cancelled his much-hyped album launch that was set for Skyline River Resortin Harare South this Friday due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Chimbetu was set to launch his 8th studio album titled Tsapo at the resort for the first leg before a second leg at TP Rukawo in Chegutu Saturday night.
In a statement posted on his socials, Chimbetu said:
“We regret to inform our valued fans and supporters that the much-anticipated launch event for Sulumani Chimbetu’s 8th studio album, which was scheduled to take place at Skyline River Resort, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control”.
The artiste will, however, continue with the launch in his hometown, Chegutu.
Sulu’s camp also said the radio launch on ZBC’s radio stations – Radio Zimbabwe, National FM, Power FM and Classic FM – is still on.
The radio launch starts at 21:00hrs (CAT) this Friday.
