Caps United will be missing the services of midfielder Tanaka Shandirwa due to suspension when they host Chicken Inn at Rufaro on Saturday.
He joins four other players, Blessed Ndereki (Simba Bhora), Prince Mujuru (Triangle United), Wayne Kamurai (ZPC Kariba), and Adrian Silla (Greenfuel), who will be serving suspensions on matchday 15.
Shandirwa scored his first goal for Caps United in their last outing against Manica Diamonds, securing a crucial 1-0 away victory at Sakubva before the FIFA international break.
The win ended a five-match winless streak for the Green Machine and handed new head coach Ian Bakala his first victory since taking over from Lloyd Chitembwe.
Without Shandirwa in the fold, who has been the club’s best player by far in recent games, Bakala has to make a tactical masterclass against the Gamecocks to earn maximum points without one of his key players.
