Central Region Soccer League side Hardrock has rewarded defender Diro Nyenye with a brand-new car valued at US$6,000 in recognition of his stellar performances in the first quarter of the season.
The club announced the surprise gift on its official social media platforms, revealing that club president Shepherd Magodora Chahwanda personally handed over the keys to a Nissan Note to the standout defender.
“We are proud to announce that our Club President, Mr. Shepherd Magodora Chahwanda, has gifted defender Munyaradzi Diro Nyenye with a Nissan Note (valued at $6,000) in recognition of his outstanding performance in the first quarter of the season,” the club stated.
Nyenye, a key figure in the Hardrock’s defensive line, has been instrumental in the team’s strong start to the campaign.
“Congratulations on your new wheels, Diro, well deserved!” the club added.
