Manica Diamonds veteran defender Lawrence Masibhera was celebrated after reaching a historic milestone of 160 appearances for the team.
Masibhera, the club’s longest-serving player, received a cash prize of US$1,000, a commemorative portrait, a match ball, and a replica jersey in recognition of his dedication.
The 30-year-old stalwart earned his first cap in 2018 when the club was still competing in the ZIFA Eastern Region Soccer League Division One.
“I’m happy, grateful all together for the love and support,” Masibhera said.
“This club has shown me immense trust, and I will continue to give my best.”
Manica Diamonds will travel to face Ngezi Platinum at Baobab on Saturday as league matches resume after the international break.
