A Bikita Early Childhood Development (ECD) teacher has been arraigned before Masvingo Magistrates’ court for allegedly sucking blood from two pupils.
The 51-year-old is facing two counts of assault and was remanded in custody to June 30, pending finalisation of investigations.
It is alleged that, between May 20 and June 5 at a Primary School in chief Budzia, the accused sucked blood from the two pupils.
The matter came to light when one of the children’s parents was bathing their child and noticed some wounds on the fingers.
