President Emmerson Mnangagwa has declared the tragic road accident that claimed 17 lives along Seke Road a national disaster.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Local Government and Public Works, Honourable Daniel Garwe, while addressing grieving families at a funeral parlour in Chitungwiza, where the bodies of the deceased are being held.
The victims will be accorded state-assisted funerals.
