Ghetto Chronicles triumphs with Seh Calaz’s ‘Noah’ Album launch

In a spectacular showcase of organisational prowess and fan devotion, Ghetto Chronicles, co-organisers of Seh Calaz’s Noah album launch, delivered a historic event at the Aquatic Complex in Chitungwiza, with the venue packed to the rafters.

The launch, doubling as the Zimdancehall star’s birthday bash, solidified Seh Calaz’s reign as a genre heavyweight while proving Ghetto Chronicles’ ability to orchestrate large-scale, high-impact music events.

Despite initial skepticism about the choice of Chitungwiza, a departure from Seh Calaz’s usual Mbare or Harare Sports Club venues, the Aquatic Complex was transformed into a pulsating hub of Zimdancehall fervor.

By 6 PM, queues snaked around the venue, and by showtime, every tier of the complex was filled, with latecomers scrambling for vantage points.

“This shows Seh Calaz’s pull and our team’s meticulous planning,” said Philemon Jambaya, Ghetto Chronicles’ spokesperson.

The lineup, curated by Ghetto Chronicles and Chitomborwizi Events, was a masterstroke.

Opening acts like Chillspot Family, Dadza D, and Kinnah whipped the crowd into a frenzy, setting the stage for Seh Calaz’s triumphant entry.

Clad in all black, studded with golden patches Seh Calaz performed Mvura ya Noah, the album’s lead single, amid pyrotechnics and a sea of phone lights before belting into his all-time hit songs.

For Ghetto Chronicles, the success cements their reputation as a premier events brand, capable of elevating Zimdancehall’s commercial appeal but they paid tribute to Seh Calaz and Chitomborwizi Events.

“We are grateful to the artist and our partners from Chitomborwizi Events for trusting us to be part of this event. We don’t take that lightly, we are honoured. We are now set to take the album to the entire nation.”
