Vengere Stadium in Rusape was abuzz with excitement on Saturday as the crème de la crème of the Pacific Storm Eastern Region gathered for the top four tournament.
The air was electric, with hundreds of fans cheering on their favourite teams amidst a backdrop of pulsating music and colourful banners.
In a thrilling finale, Buffaloes emerged victorious, defeating Masvingo United 5-1 in a penalty shootout to claim the coveted title.

The tournament, which featured league champions FC Hunters and Tenax, was a resounding success, with ZIFA vice-president Kenny Ndebele gracing the event as the guest of honour.
Zimdancehall chanter Jah Signal and a number DJs took turn to entertain the crowd on intervals.
Emcee Ndombele took charge of the proceedings.
In an interview on the sidelines of the tournament, Ndebele, the Zifa Vice President, emphasised the importance of corporate partnerships in football development.
He urged sponsors to come on board and support the sport.
“We need to focus on building a strong foundation for football in Zimbabwe, and that starts with investing in lower and developmental leagues,” said Ndebele.
“We are open to partnerships that will bring competitiveness to the league and enhance football development. Let’s work together to take our football to new heights.”

The event also provided an opportunity for FC Hunters to receive their medals and trophy for winning the Eastern Region championship.

Hunters coach, Clifford Dzvairo, beamed with pride, acknowledged the team’s remarkable achievement.
“Our focus now shifts to the Premier Soccer League, where we aim to make a lasting impact,” Dzvairo said, his eyes shining with ambition. “We commend the league and sponsor Pacific for a successful season. We are excited to take on the best teams in the country and prove ourselves at the top level.”
Pacific Storm, the title sponsor of the Eastern Region Division One league, was praised for their unwavering support of football in the region.
Marketing manager Kudakwashe Chiutsi reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting grassroots football.
“We believe in the power of football to transform lives and communities,” Chiutsi said.
“We will continue to support football, with plans already underway for next season. The future of Zimbabwean football is bright, and we are proud to be a part of it.”
The Pacific Eastern Region Division One tournament had not only showcased exceptional football but also highlighted the importance of partnerships and investment in the sport.
