Three people were killed while 15 others were injured when a commuter omnibus they were travelling in burst its rear tyre and overturned Wednesday morning.
Police confirmed the accident saying, “ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on 17/12/25 at around 1145 hours at the 32.5 kilometre peg along Harare-Mutare Road, near Masimba Gardens, Ruwa.
“Three people were killed while 15 others were injured when the right rear tyre of a Toyota Hiace kombi burst, resulting in the vehicle overturning before landing on its left side. The kombi had 18 passengers on board.”
This brings to 13 the number of people that were killed in road traffic accidents this Wednesday after another accident claimed 10 people along the Harare-Nyamapnda road.
