Shamva-based Simba Bhora have issued a forceful denial amid swirling transfer rumors, insisting their squad is locked down and not on the verge of a player exodus.
This follows reports linking their star duo, midfielders Donald Mudadi and Emmanuel Ziocha, to a potential move to Harare giants CAPS United. The club has categorically dismissed the speculation.
A high-ranking club source stated the majority of the senior squad is secured on contracts running until December 2026.
The revelation is a direct counter to fears of a repeat of 2024, when the club was stripped of key talent after its title win.
“We learnt a harsh lesson last season,” said the source.
“Now, our core is protected. Any club interested in our contracted players must come to the table properly. We control the process.”
The source confirmed only two player, midfielder Liberty Chakoroma and goalkeeper Tonderai Mateyaunga, see their deals expire on December 31, 2025.
Every other key contributor remains firmly under contract for the coming season.
“Planning for next season is already underway, built on the foundation of a stable, experienced group,” the source added.
“We have a solid team. We are not a club to be picked apart.”
Simba Bhora are expected to unveil a new coach after Joel Luphaphla has joined FC Platinum.
